The bread is also worth mentioning. It's really good and doesn't taste quite like other sandwich bread I've had before. It seems that they start with par-cooked bread and actually finish the baking after you order.
Just stopped by again for the second time ever. Got the Original again and it's still amazing. Maybe not as perfect as last time but still may be the best sandwich ever. It's roast beef and horseradish and a sweet mustard and maybe some other stuff.
No hassle wifi (though it was having technical issues a few weeks ago). Nice atmosphere. You can even order online from your laptop inside the place and they'll drop off your order in the bookcase-thingy near the tables.
Once again, super helpful staff. It's a great shopping experience.
Just saw Tyler Florence here (http://www.foodnetwork.com/tylers-ultimate/index.html).
No more bathroom keys. It's a code system now.
Bud light draft is available.
Tue Wed, $2 drinks 5pm till close, sign says. Restaurant also appears to be called El Sotano Restaurant.
They don't brew decaf after noon, but if you ask for one, they'll offer to make you a decaf americano for the price of a coffee.
They allow dogs.
They have Bud Light on draft!
Bathroom code is 3456.
I ordered the "Go Bistro Pork Steak Bowl". May have been one of the worst meals I've ever had. And only $11.99!
I just paid for Todd!
Really good cheeseburger for $6. The fries that came with it though sucked.
There's a line out the door and it's 11am. Strange. Also, apparently, "Popeyes" does not have an apostrophe in it.
My Tilapia Quesadilla was unexpectedly awesome. I also got to taste the plaintain cakes ("desayuno tipico") and it was otherworldly.
Congrats, you two!!
A beautiful urban space. A fire is going, perfect for a cozy, rainy day. It's a mix of a coffee house and a restaurant.
Back again on the return trip from Tahoe!
