Ha! It would cost me two punctures to join Costco, and they aren't anywhere near my house. These are the original tires, won't need new ones for years.
I rolled over a screw on my way to work yesterday, and thankfully I have run-flat tires. I went to Just Tires this afternoon. They told me 45 minutes to repair the tire and it was indeed 45 minutes. $23.
Actually eating here. C+. You get three 12" pancakes, which is just a gross amount of food. I couldn't eat one! I'm digging around for the cinnamon apples. Service is middling. Go to Lulu's at Beverly and Detroit.
At 8am it was nearly full inside, but the counter was wide open. I'm outside.
Eh. Mocha was milky, not so coffee-y. You can sit and chat and no one bothers you, but it doesn't seem that clean. Decor is dreary.
The Who aren't convincing me they're anything but a couple of aging conservatives.
Thanks!
Waiting to meet up with cousins I haven't seen in years. The mother is my father's generation, haven't seen her in maybe 7 or 8 years. The daughter, my age, I haven't seen since we were teens. Should be interesting!
Matzo ball soup. Seriously the best.
Oh. My. Goodness. At the 23rd floor bar and tea lounge having a glass of champagne. Service is supreme!!
Waiting for Avatar to start. Full house.
Lasted an hour into the screener of Invictus. Yawwwnn!
Waiting for haircut by Justin Teal, who has a tiny room to himself.
I'd give it an A+ for cast and acting, an A- for story and script. The first half was great, very punchy and smart. The second half continued with important themes, but got a little drippy.
George Clooney was to die for, and the two female stars were smart and their characters were well written. They were fully developed characters, not just window dressing.
Did you see the state Capitol building? The Old Governor's Mansion? There's a fort to see, too. Old Town Sac with lots of good restaurants. You can take a peek at Underground Sac from there, too, see how the streets were originally a story lower. There's so much to see in and around Sacramento!
Lucky, lucky you!! Go out for a fab dinner. Maybe even convince bobh to drink something ritzier than Bud Light. Live it up!
If it's the same place I went, it was above average, but not stellar. Like so much of LV, they only reach so high and say That's enough, instead of pushing on to something really great.
Yes. You can click on the map, either on your iPhone or the computer, and it will take you to Google maps. Zoom out for a better view.
I agree. I thought the lead men and the supporting cast fit the period, but the lead woman didn't really. I didn't feel the chemistry between her and the lead male.
Great costumes and scenery, though.
Wow, looks like a trip to Boise might be in order!
EXCELLENT. I had homemade ravioli, very light, filled with mushroom and covered in truffle oil sauce.
My friend had a seafood pasta that was chock full of lobster, clams, shrimp....
I will be back!!
