Security line in Terminal D is STUPID long, but it moves. Maybe 2/3 of Atlanta's.
Good American comfort food.
Great customer service & super-comfortable beds here, but really, really bad coffee. I think they serve decaf 24/7.
Not enough power outlets, but really good people watching.
Chicken pho=perfect for a rainy day. And their charbroiled pork with garlic noodles? A fantastic food sin.
Beware creepy humming dude at airport bar. I'm not at all keen on dinner theatre.
Surprisingly chill the day of Mardi Gras. Guess everyone came in yesterday and is sleeping it off. Alas, no daquiri stands here to refresh weary travelers.
It's a mall that was built on the site of an old horse racing track, which during WWII was used as a depot for shipping Japenese Anericans to the Internment Camps. Historical tragedy meets cultural tragedy of mass consumerism.
Awesome little dive-ish bar with a fireplace. Chill bartenders & regulars. Great place for a few, especially on a fall evening.
Mr Espresso Coffee = sooooooo good!
I got a decent salad there for $8.00. Not prepackaged and the veggies were fresh. I'd go back.
This is very early 90's. Pretty, though.
Boz Scaggs & Michael MacDonald. Not something I would have chose but a pretty good show!
Smells soooooo good in here. Waiting for my to-go lunch order. They give you tea while you wait, which is nice.
The day crew folks here are really nice.
Long wait, but the chairs are pretty comfortable.
Mmmm...swedish pancakes + lingonberry butter FTW!
A dry Chardonnay, salad and sanwiches--perfect Sunday afternoon.
Mmmmmm...beer. Remember to get a drink token at the window--no cash bar.
