Griddle Cafe
Los Angeles, California

Actually eating here. C+. You get three 12" pancakes, which is just a gross amount of food. I couldn't eat one! I'm digging around for the cinnamon apples. Service is middling. Go to Lulu's at Beverly and Detroit.
At 8am it was nearly full inside, but the counter was wide open. I'm outside.

2 p.m., and the line for breakfast was still out the door into the DGA courtyard.

This is the most crowded I've ever seen Griddle Cafe. The line wraps around and into the DGA courtyard next door.

This place always has a line on the weekend! I drove by at 2:15, and the line was out the door. It does look like they added some outdoor seating since the last time I drove by. I've got to have breakfast here someday.

      • You're kidding me!? I can't believe that. It's ALWAYS packed whenever I drive by.

        • As long as you hit the restaurants around here before 10am, you miss the crowds. So are you there to eat, or be seen (standing in line)?

Just heard from someone in line with me that they serve delicious (and HUGE!) pancakes.

Here at the Director's Guild for a screening. Wondering about the long lines at The Griddle Cafe. It must be terrific!
